EQ-Train: Equality Training for Trainers
International project about gender-sensitive vocational orientation

"Prepare your daughter for working life - give her less money than your son!" International project EQ-Train: Equality Training for Trainers used this slogan to raise awareness about income differences between women and men. In this project we would like to inform you about new angles and emphases in the area of gender-sensitive vocational orientation. Our central focus will be on Equal Pay - the equality of income between women and men. By training trainers and counselors (both male and female), the project EQ-Train aims at imparting knowledge concerning (un)fairness in income as well as at trying out innovative methods of training for vocational counseling and orientation.

Organizations cooperating within the project EQ-Train: Netzwerk österreichischer Frauen- und Mädchenberatungsstellen, ASPEKT, SOFIA - Institute for Holistic and Applied Social Research, Gender Studies, o.p.s.I.C.M. - Instituto Canario de la Mujer, CRAMARS and strategic partners in Austria supporting the project: Bundeskanzleramt Österreich/Frauen, Abt. II/3,  Gleichbehandlungsanwaltschaft, Bundesministerium für Unterricht, Kunst und Kultur, Abt. für geschlechtsspezifische Bildungsfragen, Bundesarbeiterkammer, Arbeitsmarktservice Österreich, Abt.
